Abstract

This research arises from the need and importance of Youth Public Policy, both at the national and local level, for the youth who are part of the experience, establishing as the main objective of Systematizing the experiences of youth participation in the elections. to the Municipal Youth Council of the city of Bucaramanga period 2021, through the following methodology, which takes as reference different recapitulations that involve techniques of this archetype. Obtaining the following results: "In the case of Bucaramanga, despite the fact that the Mayor's Office was giving free passes to enter the Water Park, in the capital of Santander, 10,663 of 159,457 young people voted" (Caracol Radio, 2021). The panorama was deserted, considering the expectations generated by these youth elections in the city. The city's educational institutions present flaws in teaching, addressing and encouraging youth participation in politics, creating not only little participation but also in some cases disinterest and ignorance of the subject among youth.
