Análisis de la concepción de cultura dominante que se maneja en el periodismo cultural de la primera y última edición de las revistas: dominical, gaceta dominical y gaceta, del periódico El País de la ciudad de Cali

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to analyze the dominant culture conception that is handled in the cultural journalism of the first and last edition of the magazines: Dominical, Gaceta Dominical and Gaceta, of the newspaper El País of the city of Cali, since it has as Research question: What is the conception of the dominant culture that is handled in cultural journalism in the first and last edition of cultural magazines: Dominical, Gaceta Dominical and Gaceta, of El País newspaper in the city of Cali? this is reached by describing the content of these; the identification of the foundations and / or guidelines of cultural journalism in the topics addressed in the mentioned magazines; and finally, analyzing the foundations of cultural journalism in the first and last edition of the magazines. With this, identify the conception of dominant culture in the newspaper El País. For this, at first the content of the first and last edition of the Dominical magazine, Gaceta Dominical and Gaceta of the El País newspaper is described. In a second moment, fundamentals and / or guidelines of cultural journalism are identified in the themes addressed in the first and last edition of the journals and in a third moment, the differences and similarities of cultural journalism between the first and the last edition of the journal are compared. magazines. All of the above was carried out under a methodology and a qualitative approach, taking into account also some quantitative criteria. In addition, the research techniques that were taken into account are the observation and the documentary collection to be able to collect information on cultural journalism and culture conceptions. Likewise, the instrument that was used are two technical sheets with the objective of recording all the findings and information that enriches the investigative process.
