Herramientas para la construcción de un manual de investigación periodística basado en el análisis del libro “El Clan de los doce apósteles” de Olga Behar

Abstract

The present investigation is intended to implicitly expose tools for the construction of a manual of investigative techniques oriented to journalism based on the book "The Clan of the Twelve Apostles" by the journalist Olga Behar, in addition to identifying the journalistic techniques from the theory It takes a historical tour of Colombia from the armed actors outside the law emphatically paramilitary cells in the Antioquia region and the ineffectiveness of the armed forces such as the police and the military, under the auspices of some economic and political groups, issues in which investigative journalism has played a remarkable role in unveiling the situations that are intended to be hidden.

This work combines the theory supported by the manuals and the identification of journalistic techniques, to promote a product that is research which gives space to a social and inclusive journalism that seeks truthfulness, autonomy before those predominant and harmful powers that permeate the spheres of society at a religious, economic, political and community level.

The subject will be approached from a descriptive approach methodology, and will be developed with a background tour of the subject, tracking what has been done in journalism research manuals and what still needs to be done to take it into account in the creation of the new manual, which tells us the theory regarding the creation of manuals and if this theory is linked to our context for this reason the national historical facts narrated in the base book of Olga Behar are investigated, the journalistic techniques are identified present, in this order of ideas we analyze the perceptions of young journalists in formative stage in contrast to the experience of journalist Olga Behar, to reach a conclusion that brings us closer to reality and develop a product of journalistic utility as The Manual of Journalist Techniques, more in keeping with the context of the Colombian journalist, that is useful for the qualification of professional journalists and those in the process of professionalization.
