Abstract

This research project was based on compiling the life stories of the street inhabitants of the San Judas Tadeo II neighborhood through the visualization in a web platform, product of a work where an approach was made with this community, which allowed an interaction with They (ethnography) were later developed textual and virtual communication actions, from the perspective of the citizen journalist, who rescue their voice and reveal the circumstances that led them to their current situation. According to Abel Ríos, co-founder and current secretary of the JAL of Barrio San Judas Tadeo II, this was founded in 1962 by Dr. Jairo Ramírez. The neighborhood is located in District 10 of the city of Cali. Initially the lands of the San Judas neighborhood belonged to haciendas that were ceded to the developer El Bosque, which decided to start to build a neighborhood of popular type, located between what is now career 50 to race 44. After the urbanization began and many people began to build their houses, the same members of the developer extended the project to other surrounding land that was not their property, but then legalized, dividing the neighborhood in two stages: San Judas Tadeo I and San Judas Tadeo II and that covered from career 39 to race 44. In its beginnings, the neighborhood did not have public services, it only had a community water key in the 41st street with 18th street, the electrical services were slowly arriving to the neighborhood, basic sanitation and other services.
