El acoso escolar: una revisión desde la familia

Abstract

This article aims to answer the question: what is the importance of recognizing the factors related to bullying in children and their implications for mental health? From the results obtained as the final research product of a bibliographic review carried out according to 4 databases: Scielo, Science Direct, Dialnet and Redalyc in relation to the years 2010-2020. The objective of the research was to analyze the effects of bullying on the mental health of students aged between 8 and 14 years old. In this way, a selection of bibliographic references was made, to then examine articles that meet the inclusion criteria (students between the ages of 8 and 14, considered victims of bullying and aggression in the educational environment). Thus, it is inferred that the particularities described in terms of bullying and bullying are factors that appear in early childhood and are part of the behavioral repertoire learned through social interaction, generating situations of conflict between family peers, and educators.
