Educación: Reproducción de desigualdad en Colombia

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand how inequality is reproduced from the Colombian educational system, and how it interferes in the social reality of the subjects, this research is of great importance because it allows the reader to understand that social dynamics are guided by a dominant system, which imposes its power on the social reality of the subjects. As results, it was found what educational level reached by the subjects influences work opportunities and living conditions, also that the social function that education claims to have is not coherent in relation to what it offers and what the subjects need according to their context. social, in addition that the occupation or the place occupied by the parents of the subjects influence the socioeconomic opportunities or status of their children; the relations that occur from the educational system are of power and domination, the one who dominates has greater socioeconomic opportunities than the oppressed. It is concluded that from the Colombian education the inequality is reproduced affecting the living conditions of the subjects.
