Dinámica familiar (funcional /disfuncional) y niveles de ansiedad en adolescentes con obesidad del colegio industrial Luis Madina de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali

Abstract

The general objective of the study is to know the relationship between family dynamics (functional / dysfunctional) and anxiety levels of 25 adolescents with obesity at the Luis Madina Industrial School in the city of Santiago de Cali. At the same time, the following specific objectives are proposed: 1) to identify the type of family dynamics (functional / dysfunctional) present in 50 adolescents (25 with obesity and 25 who do not have such status); 2) establish the levels of anxiety of the 50 adolescents (25 with obesity and 25 who do not have this state); and 3) relate the type of family dynamics (functional / dysfunctional) and levels of anxiety present in the 25 adolescents in the state of obesity. To do this, a quantitative study is carried out based on two instruments: family APGAR and the Beck anxiety inventory. Among the results, it is determined that the largest number of adolescents have a functional family and low levels of anxiety. It is concluded that there is no relationship between anxiety and family dynamics in adolescents, so it is necessary to look for the causes of their condition from other scenarios and factors.
