Abstract

This degree project focuses on the creation of an academic management system for the Cesar Conto Association (ACC) 1, in which it compiles the current needs of the institution, which is condensed into having a program that integrates the management processes of registration and academic record of the student, allowing thus to take control and a better service of each process that is carried out. The importance of the academic management system lies in providing timely information to teachers, students and the administrative area of ​​the institution, in order to evaluate academic performance in an easy and accurate manner, where the cost of money and excess of time that is currently generated when performing each activity. For this, the different research techniques are implemented through a development methodology (BOOCH) 2 that allows to compile the current situation and the needs of the user for the development of the system, for the compilation of this information, interviews and surveys were carried out for all the users that intervene in the system which allowed us to model the system according to the needs collected. For the development of the system an agile methodology was used in which the current needs, the possible solutions and the level of scope can be detected, thus measuring the level of user satisfaction in each underdevelopment of the system. Within the functionality of the system students will be allowed to see their notes of each corresponding subject, the description of their personal data and the generation of their student certificate. It also allows the teaching area of ​​the educational establishment to visualize its academic assignment with its respective hours and classrooms that correspond to them. All these processes will allow the institution to control and standardize all its resources. In addition to this, an agenda will be made for Android devices that will allow the teacher to have a calendar of all the activities that take place in the daily life related to the association.
