Abstract

In this thesis, a technical and financial feasibility study is carried out in the process of bending copper bridges for the company TECAM SA, through the application of engineering methods that identified the simplest and most efficient method to increase the productivity of the manufacturing of copper bridges on the 3D CNC bending machine, work measurement techniques are performed to eliminate downtime within the manufacturing process and evaluated by manufacturing and labor costs. Firstly, a description is made of the components necessary for the operation of an organization's air conditioning equipment, therefore a study is made of the general operating process of TECAM S.A. and we mainly focus on the process of creating copper bridges: on manufacturing times, material costs and labor costs, on the fixed manual bending machine, which the organization is currently employing, when examining the results of The cost evaluation proposes to carry out a technical analysis of the adequacy to the 3D CNC bending machine to adapt the bending process of copper bridges, data on manufacturing costs, initial investment costs and recovery time are collected. of the investment, and the current method is compared with the proposed method, showing which would be the most effective option for the organization. The conclusions of the performance of the technical and financial feasibility study are written, responding to the general and specific objective of the thesis and the recommendations for the increase in productivity and quality in the organization are stated
