Diseño de una herramienta para obtener procedimiento operacional para el cálculo de huella de carbono para la Fundación Universitaria Católica Lumen Gentium

Abstract

Currently the needs to protect the environment in which we live have permeated many important areas of society, one of these is educational. The institutions have shown a clear concern to include environmental protection in different areas of their actions. To do this it is necessary to know in the first half the impact on nature. One way to know part of this affectation is through the calculation of carbon footprint. In this sense, the Lumen Gentium Catholic University Foundation is considered to enter into this type of practice. This project arises from the need to generate a tool that allows the calculation of the carbon footprint for the institution. This work consists of three main stages, the diagnosis of the procedural situation, their development (order and parameters to be followed) that will be contained in a manual type document and finally its validation by experts.
