Estudio de factibilidad técnica y financiera para la implementación de un sistema de telemedicina en el hospital local de Candelaria

Abstract

The advancement of technology at a rapid pace and the development of teams that allow people to be brought closer together, make the different productive sectors take advantage of it, and the health sector is not the exception. In this case Telemedicine helping patients in their treatments and bringing them closer to medical services, which hosts applications and equipment that facilitate remote medical monitoring, making it easier for people to access health services. This study is carried out based on the experience and knowledge within the local hospital of Candelaria where the system is intended to be implemented, based on the medical, technical and financial information of the personnel working in said institution. The technical characteristics of the equipment required and the means of data transfer are indicated. The structure of the telemedicine platform is raised under the parameters of Colombian laws for that purpose and the relevant ethical and safety concepts. A financial analysis is carried out to establish the feasibility of implementing the system.
