Abstract

The present work is deployed in the context of the environmental problems in which the world is currently as a result of anthropogenic activities. As a result of this, an economic system is developed based on the use of software tools and free hardware, whose purpose is the monitoring and tracking of environmental atmospheric variables. This is done from its relevance to highly industrialized societies and those that are on this route, with the aim of emphasizing its importance at a regional level due to the prevailing economic activities in the city of Cali and the Valle del Cauca in general . It is intended to specifically address the issue of air and the quality of it and how through the implementation of these facilities it is possible to obtain and analyze information that supports adequate decision making for the environmental improvement of the relevant entities, from the integration of the industrial and academic sectors. Particularly, to demonstrate the proper functioning of the system, the study is developed from the emissions of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water vapor and methane generated by the cafeteria of the Pance headquarters of the Lumen Gentium Catholic University Foundation.
